One-on-One Coaching

Task-Coaching RelationshipThroughout the course, candidates are supported by individual coaches experienced from Logistics Learning Alliance (LLA).  These coaches also assess candidates’ assignments and determine when they are ready to proceed to the next task or unit.  At the end of the course, the student’s portfolio of work is collated for verification by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) – UK.

Because the course is entirely one-on-one coaching, students can start at any time and progress at their own individual pace – essential for learning while working in demanding humanitarian careers.  While the Certification in Humanitarian Logistics (CHL) course is designed to take 5 hours per week over 18 months, which is just a guideline.  If candidates have additional time, they can do one or even multiple tasks per day.  Similarly, if they are deployed for an emergency, candidates can put their course work on hold temporarily, although there is a time limit of 3 years for completion.
